Getting started
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later, and Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 12 or later. The game targets 30 frames per second on iPhone 12 and 60 on newer devices.
How do I control the soldier?
- iPhone and iPad: move with the left stick, look and aim by dragging on the right side, and use the on-screen buttons to shoot, aim, reload, jump, dodge and switch weapons.
- Mac: keyboard and mouse.
- Controller: game controllers work on every device.
Curing and rescuing
How do I cure an infected neighbor?
Infected neighbors are marked with a cyan diamond. Switch to the Cure Pistol and hit them with it. Once cured, they follow you; lead them to the Rescue Camp to save them.
I shot a neighbor by mistake
Killing an infected neighbor costs points, and they can't be rescued after that. Watch for the cyan diamond before you open fire.
Game Center
Leaderboards and achievements don't appear
Sign in to Game Center in Settings → Game Center (on Mac: System Settings → Game Center), then reopen Nightcure. The Leaderboards and Achievements buttons show once you're signed in. Scores from games played offline are sent the next time you sign in.
Settings and progress
Too much blood?
Open Settings in the game and set Blood to Realistic, Reduced or Off.
I reinstalled and lost my progress
Your stats and settings are saved on your device, so deleting the app removes them. Leaderboard scores and achievements are kept by Game Center.
The game runs slowly or gets hot
Close other apps, turn off Low Power Mode, and let the device cool down. If it keeps happening, email us your device model.
